Wow is this thing tiny! I bought this Betta Bowl to house my Betta and his tank buddies while I clean and to use as a makeshift hospital. I have to admit I was expecting it to be a bit...bigger. But that's on me as there was a size chart in the images and I needed something cheap and fast to put my fish in while I clean the tank out. I threw out the plants and rocks so I can't comment much on them. The rocks were not enough and the plants felt too rough to put in such a small space with a fish that has soft fins.
That said, I'm a bit horrified that Penn-Plax would ever market this as suitable for TWO betta, let alone one. Please reconsider if you are buying this as the longterm home for a betta. They are smart and inquisitive fish that are often mistreated. Yes, they can survive in a gallon of water, but thats like saying you can survive in an empty 5x5' bedroom. It's possible, but you'renot gonna like it. For your betta to thrive, they need at least 2.5 gallons. 5 being the minimum if they have one or two tankmates. Do yourself and the fish a favor and spend the extra 5 bucks for a glass 5.5+ gallon at the local pet store.

This plastic tank features a removeable, double-sided divider with built-in slits for even water flow. You can remove the divider completely, giving more space to a single Betta.
Please Note: Bettas are naturally combative, and should not be placed together in a single compartment.

To get you started, we include a small pack of Pro-V crystals. These efficiently adsorb waste for healthier water and easy cleaning.
Divided Compartments
While keeping your Bettas safely separated, the double-sided divider is both opaque and see-though!
Bottom Drain
Approximately once a week or as needed, drain about 20% of water by opening the water release cap, then fill with dechlorinated water.
Filter Grid & Plant Pins
In addition for installing the included aquarium plants, the filter grid keeps the waste absorbing Pro-V crystals in place while draining water.

Helpful Instructions:
- 1) Wash all components with warm water only, and then spot dry with a clean towel or rag.
- 2) Place filter grid, waste adsorbing crystals, and plastic plants in tank, then fill with dechlorinated water.
- 3) Approximately once a week or as needed, drain about 20% of water by opening the water release cap, then fill with dechlorinated water.
