When do I put the fish in the water? <\/p>\n

Option 1) Splicing — cut off the top 2 inches of a basil plant to put in medium. You can add fish immediately.<\/p>\n

Option 2) Grow from seeds — Can take 2 weeks to grow 2 inches tall, then it is safe to add fish. If your seeds do not sprout, try green onions or adding the top trimming of a basil plant — only 20% of any kind of seeds ever sprout.<\/p>\n
