I use this on the front of a thick arm on my new couch to keep one of my cats from scratching it to get my attention. He has a scratching post for his nails but if he wants something in particular he knows how to get my attention by scratching the couch. He tried scratching this a couple of times and then gave up. He did eventually move to the side of the couch and I will be covering it next.
I used the adhesive in tandem with the upholstery pins and it has only been a few weeks but it hasn’t moved. I really like that the pieces are really large and can be cut down to fit your area. My couch arms are particularly large and this fit nicely where I wanted it.
